How old is your Discovery Channel forum ID?

Mods this is tv related. A forum ID for the Discovery channel lets you discuss any of the shows on Discovery, TLC, or Discovery Health. Potentially over 40 tv shows.

I’m amazed that my Discovery login ID is dated 10-27-02. It will be nine years old in a couple weeks. I originally created it to discuss Trading Spaces. At one time I was very active in about six of the forums tv shows.

  1. when was your login created (it’s right below your name if you post) or guess/estimate if you don’t want to login to it.

  2. what was your original show that you wanted to discuss?

  3. still active over there?

The Discovery/TLC boards were the hottest tv boards on the net in 2002. They’d have 75 posts within hours of Trading Spaces airing. 200 to 300 posts with a few days for just one episode. It was like that for other popular shows too.

No one else wants to reminisce about those good old days?

I don’t post there much anymore but that’s true everywhere. Forum posts have disappeared drastically on all the boards I visit.
