How’s your lead-in to Christmas looking?

Son#1 is the one who has our grandbaby. We’ll simply reset the trip for a time that works for both sons.

Snoopy and Woodstock had a bit of a rough takeoff tonight, what with the snow on the wings from yesterday’s snowfall, but they’re up and flying now.

So where’s the Red Baron? :kissing_smiling_eyes:

And the carollers came by!

Local singers caroller down our street collecting donations for the door bank.

@#$%^& it! Amazon says they delivered Mom’s gift a couple of days ago. Apparently, it got stolen. Replacement won’t get here until late January. Oh, well.

About 11 or 12 years ago I was about to drive 500 miles to visit now-Mrs. L.A. down in Coos Bay. I went out to the Jeep on Christmas Eve to find that someone had nicked my driver-side windshield wiper – arm, and all. I swapped out the passenger-side one so that I could drive down to Everett to get a new arm and wiper before proceeding south in one of the heaviest snow storms we’ve had since I’ve been up here. (Looks like this year might be heavy too.)

Our Christmas season is great, so far. My 30 or so Christmas cards have been mailed out. I’ve gotten a few back, including from my crush in Florida, and a friend who lives in The Netherlands. We opened Christmas presents with the landlady’s family this morning. (Actually, they started without us, knowing that we were out late last night doing a sing-along Messiah.) We got a towel set and some screwdrivers. And my Christmas present from Mom (which I picked out) arrived about an hour ago: No Time to Die.

Last Sunday, we had a fantastic church service led by the choir, which I’m in, doing several anthems. Tomorrow, we have a 7 o’clock Christmas Eve Lessons and Carols service, and on the 26th, I’m doing a solo in church.
