Death is tough to deal with, and I am very sorry about both your loss and how you were forced to deal with it. However, your hatred of cops does not help.
If you would have posted a thread about the anniversary of the death of a friend, and how hard it was to deal with the police investigation of her husband, and how ugly that was - you would have gotten a lot of support. It might have triggered a very good debate on how the police have ot investigate someone who is also dealing with grief.
Instead, you came across as looking for just another reason to pit cops.
There was no killer per your post - she committed suicide.
Now lets take a look at the warm messages you have put out on two threads:
Plus this little bit of thinly veiled racism:
Then we have your Keyboard Courage here:
Finally - you bitched about people not responding about being related to LEOs. You bragged about driving skills. In that thread I agreed with you about one of your perceptions (the Irvine cops profiling), I answered your question about LEO family. I commented that one of the Malibu Grand Prix places was still open. Your response was to call me a moron. Gee - thanks asshole. At the time I was actually defending at least part of your post.
I would say that every single ticket you have gotten, and your poor interactions with the police are based on some combination of three possible factors:
Bad cops
Bad luck in getting caught
You are dickhead in real life the way you are online and the cops responded to that.
Stan, I think you’re a tool. Your story is full to the brim of potential holes that lead me to believe she was killed, and perhaps that your “man” Danny did his wife in, but the cops lacked sufficient proof to arrest. The biggest thing that stands out is the “plan” part. When they kill themselves, women create elaborate plans, set stages and disappear until someone finds them. They’re typically not violent deaths, nor do they immediately impact others in most cases. Further, simply laying down on the road doesn’t mean you’ll automatically be hit by the next car, if the driver is paying attention, you could be missed, she would know that, even in her depressive state, if she was half as bright as you assert. I don’t doubt she died, I don’t doubt your sadness, but I have a hard time believing with the facts you’ve presented that she killed herself. In fact, it wouldn’t suprise me to learn that you know more than you’re letting on.
For what it’s worth, cops aren’t born assholes, they’re turned into assholes because they deal with assholes, like you, every day. You’re probably one of these pseudo-know-it-all loudmouth beat-offs that drop that old “I pay your salary” chestnut on whatever public servant that appears to have wronged you. Truly, those of us serving the public good enjoy dealing with people like you. We love it, really.
In closing, I will assure you of at least one thing, you’re probably not smarter than all the cops, and you’re definately not smarter than the smartest criminal. All of this huffing and puffing and fantastical adolescent blather you’re engaging in serves only to discredit you and make people not believe a bloody word you say.
Bystanders don’t get away with “insisting” on anything at crime scenes. And they most certainly are not allowed to view the bodies of crash victims.
So, maybe I missed it, but inquiring minds want to know…
Mom is lying on the freeway, dad is hibernating at work.
Who is watching the baby?
Let’s suppose it’s grandma, who (best case scenario) was going to spend the night to give mom and dad a chance to celebrate the birthday.
Even given this scenario, I’m rather shocked that the most wonderful dad in the world didn’t go home to let grandma know that mom is having another episode and to spend the rest of the night with his child, perhaps letting grandma go find her daughter and help with the emotions.
What are you talking about? Bystanders push their way past police lines all the time to view dead bodies of friends. On TV. Which is where this bullshit probably came from.
Stan, you are so full of shit you squeak going into a turn. NO cop is going to allow anyone near a crime scene, and contaminate any possible evidence. There is NO FUCKING WAY you would have been allowed within 10 feet of said van-ever heard of “forensics?” They have to have a LAB check for ANY trace of blood, or any other DNA, dumbass.
And if said cops DID allow any of this, they WOULD deserve said pitting-but not for the reasons you think.
Y’all have opinions on the OP, and the situation, and that’s fine. Yet if the cops did the below to me, well let’s just say that I would feel justified in saying, “fuck these cops” too. I mean seriously, is this some kind of interogation technique? Cops think they spot liars too, but some thread around here provided a study that showed they cannot (but that CIA agents as whole were better at it). Would love to see a study that showed if the quoted techniques are effective, or are effective at all.
They ask you to step into the back of the car, and if you do get a chance to say this,
you’re just digging yourself even deeper.
If Stan did make those comments, I’m fairly certain he would not have been the winner in the dispute that followed. I daresay, though, that he never did open his big fat yap (if he was there, if he oversaw the van inspection, if if if), because if he had, he would bitch further about the cops squashing his First Amendment rights.
On preview: Clothahump, how can you not want to hear the story of Stan singlehandedly apprehending three burglars? It’ll keep me until there’s an update in the Ron thread, that’s for sure!
I don’t buy a word of the OP, except for the obviously true fact that a person named Kelly Cortes was found dead on an off-ramp of I-5 near Burbank. I think he dug up this obscure story of a local death, embellished it with a bunch of made-up and uncorroborated details to bolster his case the cops R TEH SUCK and provided exactly all the details available in the single online article about it so that someone would be sure to find it for him. Not a single one of the other details turns up any additional articles, stories or anything else regarding these people despite the fact that some details, such as the name Deja, are unusual or even unique. No, this is pure trollery; I just can’t prove it. Yet.
