Well, maybe ‘good’ is not quite the right word. Hot damn I looked AlotLessUglyThanIThoughtIWould!
Three thirty in the AM here, not going to take the time to post any details. But I am surprised what a little makeup and a LOT of shaving can accomplish. I think what made the real difference is the time, trouble and expense I went to to get some pretty striking clothes. Couple nice touches as well – I think the best thing I came up with was picking up a pack of Virginia Slims. Also cracked and forewent anonymity to talk to my neighbors about a few things – what a smart move. They are a long-term, fun gay couple. They helped with suggestions as to where to go and gave some extraordinary help – two things stand out and I’m not sure which was more important; they applied my makeup much much better than I could ever have done on my own, and they gave me a ride to the restaurant. Great folks, seemed to have had a blast helping me, too. Always good to share the fun!
Was an interesting night. Took a couple pics – they are… different, to say the least. Again, didn’t look good per se, but did arrive at AlotLessUglyThanIThoughtIWould.
