foxydevil2e as has been pointed out, it requires a Vampire to make you into a Vampire. Why should a Vampire want to make you into a Vampire?
The prospect of spending an eternity with foxydevil2e is probably enough to make any self-respecting creature of the night eat a sunshine sandwich.
lol-too funny!
also, i loved ElJeffe’s post.
I think we should get a special forum for these kids. Am I the only one who enjoys reading the stupid crap they post?
Where is Barnabus Collins when you need him?
sigh
Is this really a general question?
We were playing chess in my appartment. Pondering a stratagem, Barnabas looked over my shoulder. His eyes fixed on my newest acquisition, a marvellous daguerreotype of a New Endland lady.
“Anya? Anya! How can it be? How can I have come to look into your eyes again after all this time? Oh my Anya!”
Then, he reached out to the portrait. His form grew dimmer and dimmer. Before my very eyes, he vanished from the present and was drawn into the past.
I pray he returns safely…and in time to stop the Cult Of Khulon from raising their dark god!
Closed with in ten minutes. Or before I can post this. Whichever happens last.
fox,
No insults outside The Pit.
Doc you’re the greatest!
Have anything published?
Thank yew.
I once won a prize in a national limerick contest judged by Asimov. But, that’s about it.
There’s an old Dark Shadows thread with more of my work in it around here.
I posted my version of Orpheus in a Greelk mythology thread.
But depression and the Harry Chapin song(I can’t recall the title “He sang out from his heart, and he sang out from his soul, and he did not know how well he sang. He just knew it made him whole.”) keep me from mailing manucripts to the proper people.
You believe in vampires – and want to become one – and you call us dumbasses? Not to mention the 1337 sp34k, which no one actually takes seriously.
This forum is for factual answers, and there is no factual evidence for the existance of vampires. Sure, there are legends dealing with vampires, but there are legends concerning things like fairies, trolls, leprechauns, and werewolves, too. None of the preceeding are evidenced to exist, and that includes vampires.
Just so you understand, no one here is trying to “tell you off”. We’re offering you the factual answer to your question. Namely, you can’t become a vampire, because there’s no such thing.
Seriously, what did you expect? Some ritual consisting of candles arranged in a pentagram, human sacrafice, and a chant to coerce the Elder Gods into granting you vampiric immortality or something?
Keep in mind, I wasn’t calling you a child, nor was I calling anyone who believed in vampires a child.
I was saying that those who think they are supernatural vampires, usually fall within one of the things I listed.
In any event, in case you (or anyone) was wondering why people (back in the old days) might have believed in vampires, [http://www.csicop.org/si/9603/staking.html](Check out this Csicop article.)
BTW-I think we could make this thread constructive; ie, why did people believe in vampires.
Just go to bed with the night light off on the last Friday of the month, and the vampires will find you and bite your head off.
The Elder Gods have nothing to do with Vampires. Totally different Mythology(not to mention unions).
To Cthulhu, Vampires are just a slightly different type of ant to be crushed.
Meatros and foxydevil2e, accusations of the sort you have used are not allowed in this forum.
Further, this question does not belong in this forum.
