How to buy on Amazon

I would rather ask a stupid question than make a stupid mistake. In any case, after my posting about the Latin Bible, “Biblia Sacra,” a Doper replied suggesting I look for it on amazon.com.
I logged onto that website and did find the book there. The customer is willing to pay the price for this book; but I know nothing about Amazon’s procedure for buying.
Please enlighten me how to go about this…

You’ll need a credit or debit card. That’s it! I’ve been buying there for over a year and have had no problems. I can pre-order and not worry about missing out on a new book, DVD, or CD.

To buy online, once you have located the item you want, click on “add to shopping cart” then if that’s all you want to buy, after it goes to the shopping cart page, you click on “check out” and it’ll pretty much take you through step by step from there.

Searches on Amazon will result in matches from three sources… Amazon itself, the “Z Shops”, and the Amazon auctions. I’ve only bought from Amazon itself, but I’ve done that zillions of times. They’re great about order tracking and they ship very quickly.

Oh wow!! I LOVE the ease of shopping using Amazon!! Talk about addictive! Have fun!!!

Naw, first visit amazing-bargains.com there, search for amazon.com Presto, youll have a list of discounts you can use for amazon.com !

Amazons the coolest!

It’s safe. The stuff shows up at your door creepy-fast and you don’t have to feel embarrased about buying Iceberg Slims “Pimp” or Nabochov’s “Lolita”.

Hey, Dougie- before your purchase, check e-bay. I found a listing for Biblia Sacra and the opening price is $15 with no bids.

And the next thing you do, you set yourself up for one-click ordering. Then you’re DEFINITELY on the way to budget hell.

Inky: Why are you embarrassed to buy a copy of LOLITA? It’s a god damn literary classic. Now, when I’m in the market for LADIES’ UNDERPANTS: A PICTORIAL HISTORY, or anything from the Taschen catalogue, THEN I go straiht to Amazon.

I’ve been boycotting Amazon recently because of their stupid-ass patents that are not their inventions and have been screwing honest people over, so I use http://www.barnesandnoble.com, which I find has everything Amazon has for about the same price.

Thanks, Zette. I’ll check eBay for this first.
If I understand aright, I can use a deibt card–I have a Bank of America Versatel ATM card–that I could use for this.
It’d be really nice if I could find some place to buy old issues of Sex to Sexty I’ve hunted for, for years…
