How to clear sinus problem?

I’m NOT sure if I have sinus problem , ear wax or water in my ear but the past some days I have ear popping sound :o if I yawn , hearing is not as good , feel full some times more so in morning.

Strange thing if I eat like if I have dinner , my ears don’t really pop but than 15 minutes later it starts again if I yawn.

If I lay down my ears don’t pop has much.

Could this be sinus problem , ear wax or water in my ear or may be (TMJ) Temporomandibular joint disorder.

What could this be? What should I do? If this does NOT clear up in weak or so I’m thinking of going to walk in medical center so they can flush out my ear.

ear wax can severely cut your hearing (like the difference between having your fingers in your ears and not). also if your ear canals are nearly full of wax then it will shift and you will hear it.

simplest problem, simplest cause, simplest solution. try that first.

Does ear wax normally clear out on its own after some days? I can’t really look in my ear and I can’t stick some thing in ear to see if there is ear wax.

It does feel full and plugged some times more so the morning.

DON’T stick anything in your ear to check for earwax. Best case scenario is you compact it into an even harder-to-remove plug. Worst case, you injure yourself.

You can get earwax cleaning kits from any drug store for about $15. These include a cleaning solution and a bulb that you use to flush out the ear. Follow the instructions that come with the kit. If that doesn’t help, instead of the kit solution, try a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in the ear, let it work for a few minutes, and then flush with water. (If you hear/feel foaming in your ear canal from the peroxide, that’s normal and means it’s working.)

You may need to clean/flush several times before you dislodge the plug. From personal experience. It was bad enough to make my ear pop and noticeably dampen my hearing, and I’d already tried the kit flush and peroxide flush before seeing the doctor. He told me it was just wax, and to try the flush again. I think I had to do it another 2-3 times before it finally worked. FWIW, your symptoms sound almost exactly like mine.

the design of the ear system is that some of the earwax gets reabsorbed and some works its way out (a long with stuff it trapped). one or both of these doesn’t work in some people and it builds up.

in the morning you would have been laying down and not moving, the wax can settle and pack. during the day you are vertical and moving so it might spread along the bottom of the canal.

the cleaning kits work well. the liquid is oil and peroxide which loosen the wax. you flush with warm water in the bulb. it can take a few times especially with a full old buildup. you might find a regular schedule for yourself like every couple months or whatever.

Does earwax come out on its own? If it does NOT I think, I would just go to walk in medical center so they can flush out has I have no training how to do that or how that works.

I don’t know much about the human body.

Why does the earwax cause a crunchy , popping , crackling sound in my ear when I yawn?

Because you’re breaking the seal between the wax and your ear canal?

I’ve had this happen to me. Got kicked square on the ear with a roundhouse kick, which compacted the wax into a plug against my eardrum. I though the eardrum had been ruptured, but the ER nurse said there’d be a LOT of pain if I’d done that, so she got out the big syringe, kidney basin and a lot of warm water and rinsed it out.

What do you mean? Can you explain this better.

And why does my ears pop more when I sit but if I’m standing it is less?

The wax sticks to the inside of your ear canal, like glue. When you move your jaw, you change the shape of your ear canal and that breaks some of the wax loose, like pulling masking tape off of something. The sound you’re hearing is that sound magnified a jillion times because it’s happening right next to year ear drum.

No idea why sitting down would affect how much your ears pop; might be the altitude.
