How to deal with an angry cat.

I don’t think that was the point. The thread is about resocializing a difficult cat. How is a comment about kicking one, helpful? Just MHO.

Never miss a chance to take a shot at PETA.
I’ve never seen a feral cat chase a human. I’ve seen them hide.
Funny thing, though. A dog would have forgiven all a long time ago. I’m not sure what that says about dogs. :dubious:

I think his point was that the OP should stay away from the cat. I can see his point, but I am severely allergic to cat scratches and would not go near one that scratched me every time I saw it.

Our youngest is two, and from the time we brought the stray male into the picture, she’s been just plain pissed off. Funny thing…she’s better in small rooms (bathroom and bedroom) than she is in the living room or kitchen. She hisses and spits and swipes at everything and everyone (except our other girl kitties).

My sister-in-law had a problem with this and her vet put the cat on prozac. You might want to look into it. I hear it’s done fairly regularly these days. My husband doesn’t want to go that route, but I’d give it a shot if it were strictly up to me.

If that had been me, I would have suspected that the feral cat might have had rabies.

But,
I don’t recall my cat being vaccinated for rabies.
