During a hospital visit today, I did not have time to go to the billing department to ask them how much it is going to cost to have skin grafted onto my son’s third degree burn. And now its the weekend, so I’m going to spend the next 48 hours or so wondering how many thousands or tens of thousands of dollars I’m going to be billed.
Does anyone know of a website where there are listed something like average amounts charged for various kinds of medical procedures, or anything like that?
(I already checked the hospital’s website and of course they don’t list amounts for procedures there.)
