No kidding. I happened to go to You Tube and saw a video on how to fold a shirt.
Here it was in the middle of the night, but after viewong the video 3-4 times I took off my T-shirt and gave it a try.
It works! And if you fold a lot of underwear T-shirts, golf shirts, polo shirts and even dress shirts, this little trick will be your friend.
The woman who demonstrates it talks in Chinese (I think), but the moves are so plain and easy you don’t need language.
This morning I folded a golf shirt for my wife, then let her try it. Bingo!
Check it out and let us know how you did.
Without any doubt many of you already know how to do this - but many do not. Learn how at…
I tried that once before but couldn’t get the hang of it. This time I vow I’ll master it. I guess I’ll have to bring a big ol’ basket of t-shirts into the computer room and practice while watching the video.
I first ran across this a couple of years ago; it’s fun to try, but I always forget to actually do it when I’m folding laundry. Good timing today; there’s a load of t-shirts in the dryer right now.
I just tried it out on one of my T-shirts. I held it in the way it showed on the video, lifted it up and pulled it with a flourish, then looked at it sitting on the floor, thinking, damn, I messed it up. Looking closely at it, I realised suddenly how and in what direction I was supposed to fold it in half, did so, and sat there in amazement at my now neatly-folded T-shirt.
This is awesome, and I can use this! Just wait until I show the ladies at work! We deal with (consignment) clothes all day long, but we just hang them or put them on mannequins; maybe this will give us some new display ideas once they realise how simple it is.
I saw this video a month or so ago and I’ve been folding my shirts that way ever since. It cuts down my laundry-folding time pretty drastically. I recommend it to anybody who has a lot of shirts and is willing to spend 5-10 minutes learning it.
