My 9 yo son wants to play fantasy football but I can’t figure out how to get him started. When I google, I find plenty of info about fantasy football and lots of NFL leagues that he could join, but he’s only interested in college football. I can’t find any college leagues.
Apparently there’s fantasy football at Sports Illustrated Kids (sikids.com) but I can’t find a link for how to join.
Any help?
Senor Beef is running a whole bunch of leagues here on the Dope - maybe you and he could make a team together for his first one.
Otherwise, there are tons and tons of free ones all over the place. Yahoo! has open leaguesthat you can join. I don’t see anything at sikids.com other than some fantasy football articles.
I’m not sure Fantasy College Football is a thing.
But I second Johnny Bravo’s suggestion of Yahoo. Their Fantasy setup is the best.
Heh, I completely glossed over the college bit. I didn’t think that was a thing either, but apparently it is.

FF for college is very niche. For a beginner it might be better to get into a simple NFL league just because there’s so much coverage, discussion, advice and social activity around it. Even if he’s not as invested in the players or the game, the mechanics and strategy will be easier to adapt to with the extra choice and support.
Yahoo FF site is the best. ESPNs is okay. CBS’s sucks.
