I would just like to relate a recent experience in home pest control. We recently moved into a new place (new for us) and before we moved anything in we noticed the home was infested with fleas. Naturally we had pest control come out and treat the place but these little s.o.b.'s were bionic or something. After the 4th treatment and they still wouldn’t go away, although not as thick as they were at first. But still who wants to live with any fleas?
Someone had told us after the 2nd treatment didn’t work to use salt. Naturally I scoffed at such a ridiculous suggestion because after all if it were that easy then why don’t the pros use it? Then frustration finally set in and this can make a person try anything.
So there we were, spreading salt throughout the entire residence with reckless abandon. All the while making fun of ourselves at how silly this “unscientific” experiment was. Wondering if perhaps we should add some fresh ground pepper and perhaps garlic too. We finished and left for the day not to return until the next day.
And by gosh, guess what? It worked! It actually killed them all dead and they have not been back since.
Salt, it’s not just a seasoning. It’s a bug killer too.
