I have mild hypertension. My lower number is fine. It always ranges from 60 to 71. My upper number ranges from 135-145 if I take my meds but and about 140-150 when I am off.
Now this has been a problem I have had since I was 30. My doctor put me on meds as both my folks died of Heart Attacks and had Hypertension.
I am very fit. I run 4-5 days a week at least 1 hour if not more. Lift weights (6’ 189# 45C 32W), my cholestol is 125 and my doctor says it isn’t much of a worry.
I take 5mg Ziac which I can tell helps a lot.
I limit my salt, it just bugs me that the systolic is high.
Question 1) What makes it high in just one number
Question 2) How to lower it w/o meds
