How to make a cooling tent

In order to save on electricity from cooling the whole room and everything in it, including the floor and whatever found inside, like for example dust, when the only thing interested in the cooling is the human occupant, what do people here more knowledgeable and experienced think about the following idea:
How to rig up an one to two persons air-conditioned tent:

  1. Obtain the cooling equipment of the smallest refrigerator;
  2. Obtain a tent made from transparent plastic sheet;
  3. Cut a hole in the tent to place the cooling equipment into;
  4. Cut another hole for placing a small electric fan.

Well, what do you think of the idea?

My problems:

  1. Where to get the cooling equipment of a very small refrigerator, surplus will do?
  2. How to install that equipment for the purpose intended?
  3. Will I get suffocated with my own carbon dioxide, unwittingly when asleep?

Please provide me with wise useful feedbacks.

There are many problems with what you propose. A tent that does not breathe will soom=n become unbreathable, not to mention muggy and clammy. Besides a plastic film is a poor insulator. And the idea of taking the “machinery” out of a small refrigerator will not work. What you really need is the smallest air conditiones you can find (and a larger room).

Just cool one room. Even a small window air conditioner can cool a small bedroom well.
