How to move a .m4b file from computer to phone

I am not usually so technically challenged but downloading onto my smart phone seems to defeat me every time. I purchased a downloadable audio file online. I connected my android phone to my computer. I downloaded the audio file (the site asked me which format; I indicated “android phone” which was on of the dropdown options). File is now downloaded **onto my computer **and I cannot figure out how to move it to the phone. I feel like an idiot. :frowning: Help, please. And speak in simple sentences without too much technospeak, if possible. Thanks!

I do this all the time to store my book lists onto my phone.

Plug in your Android usb connector into your computer. You’ll see a usb connected message and a usb icon at the top. Swipe that, and you’ll get a list of things to do including connect usb. Select that, and you get a page with a button saying “connect storage to PC”. Once you do that, and accept the warnings, your phone should show up as a disk on your PC, and then you can copy the file over to wherever it belongs on the phone.

The secret is to swipe the upc symbol at the beginning - if you don’t do that, the phone doesn’t show up, and you wonder what the heck is happening.

If in a pinch, you can email it to your phone. Send to youtendigitnumber@oneofthese. This is more useful without a smartphone.
