I agree, but, does anyone do that anymore? How many Superman, Spiderman, Hulk, Batman etc origin stories do we need? Everyone already knows them, probably from birth. But they keep “rebooting”.

Did I hear correctly that Marvel has forsworn any more on-screen origin stories?

Ban any reference to or use of Time Travel from the universe for the foreseeable future.

Ignore the movie series and reboot the universe to the original series or another ship in the same time period or thereabouts.
Stop the fucking madness with this eternal push for darker, grittier crap.

Agreed, but how about a series of stories of various types of ships and their adventures? Maybe even civilian ships, etc. How about stories about the Firefly class ship, for instance?

I would simply do a new ship-based series, similar to TOS or TNG, and set in that timeline, but based another hundred years or so in the future.

Maybe throw in a casual one-time reference to Ambassador Spock who long ago saved the Romulans using “red matter” but tragically lost his life in the process.

No objection to story arcs, but the original formula was one that worked.
