The only reason the nation is having a dialogue is because the image of white children getting slaughtered in a school is horrific (it is), to me the fact that people die in the ghetto every day and no one cares is equally horrific.

I agree that people are shot everyday in the ghettos and everyone just shrugs like that’s to be expected. That fact is disgusting. However, I do think that if there was a mass shooting at an inner city school with twenty dead minority children, I don’t think it would just be shrugged off like the drive-bys that America ignores.

In fact, I think an interesting discussion would be why it seems that these mass shootings are a white phenomenon, barring a few exceptions, such as the John Muhammad and Lee Malvo case.

What likelyhood is one to survive a mass shooting when the shooter doesn’t have access to a gun?

Pretty darn good. what’s the likelihood guns will be taken off the street. Pretty darn poor.

Well either crazy rich kids live longer than crazy poor kids or the crazy poor kids join gangs and do their shooting one at a time on the installment plan.
