What I want to know is - how can I find out which cards these are?? Most manufacturers websites only say the card has AN integrated TV encoder, not which make & model.

I believe that a look closely at the tech specifications should show which it is. Post which cards you’re intersted in and I’ll see if I can dig it up
Well, that’s exactly it - I’m looking for any card that will put out 720p/1080i to my TV (per my IMHO thread which you also posted in). After reading my TVs manual, and looking at the physical connector it looks like the DVI on the TV isn’t capable of handling the DVI from a PCs video card! So now I’m looking for a card that can output HD formats natively, and then grab a DVI-component video converter.
OTOH, I’m also thinking about going with an ATI all-in-wonder 9800. Unfortunately, ATI suggests a 300w power supply, where the machine I want to put it in has a 250w.
