How To: Transfer files between PC and iPhone 3GS ??

PC user for 20 years, currently running Vista. I know literally nothing about Mac’s, Apple, iTunes, and so on.

I’ve just acquired an iPhone 3GS, and wonder if there’s a quick 'n EZ way to transfer files between the iP3GS and my PC.

If is a mongie question, go easy on me.
