How to Wear A Bracelet

Kid, the Younger’s friend has given me a totally cool bracelet. It’s made up of black nylon rectangles about 1"x3/4", held together by oval stainless steel links. On each black section is a stainless steel cross. It’s pretty punk looking. I want to wear it to church this Sunday because I’m on with the older kids and I know the girls will love it. Some of them have similar one’s

My question is, which way is up? Should I wear it with the long end of the cross pointing toward my hand or shoulder?

Thanks!

If I’m understanding your description of the bracelet correctly, I’d think you’d want to wear it so a person standing in front of you and looking at it would see right-side-up crosses, not upside-down crosses.

So I guess that means the long end of the cross pointing towards your hand, not up towards your shoulder.

Thank you! That’s what I was leaning toward, but I wasn’t sure.

It’s simply a matter of taste.
The same applies to my signet ring. This can either have the engraving the right way up for me or the right way up for other people. In this case I wear it for my sake, not other peoples, so I have the initials the right way up for me!

I’d agree most of the time, fezpp, but weraring a cross the wrong way up to church…

Better not!
