How well informed are Fox News viewers?

I feel deprived. My cable company does not carry the Fox news channel so I have little idea what the hell you’re all talking about. Carry on.

Two of my favorite news outlets are Fox News and NPR. Neither one alone is a particularly well-balanced news source.

Figs are an excellent source of nutrition, but an all-fig diet would likely kill you. It’s kind of the same with media sources.

I don’t think its possible to really quantify an answer to this question. All answers (obviously, just go back up through the thread) are filtered by the perceptions of the poster. If your perceptions tend to see anything coming from the ‘right’ as incorrect or stupid, then your answer is going to obviously be ‘yes’ to the OP. If your perception is in sympathy with the ‘right’, then you will answer accordingly. In addition, this question was a one trick pony…I’m sure that a determined righty could come up with a similar poll to one of the left leaning news channels listener base where they could illicit an ‘incorrect’ response based on the prejudices of those listeners. I could think of a few questions involving Global Warming or the Second Ammendment that folks HERE could answer in their sleep, but that a broader audience might have trouble with…especially if the questions were nuanced and simply yes or no, or limited rigid choices.
Or, basically what Liberal said a few posts up…he said it MUCH better than my flailing attempt here. What I find most amusing is how quick folks here are to jump on Fox for bias (rightly so IMHO, FWIW), while not seeing the bias in their own pet stations. From my centrist, middle of the road and moderate perspective its pretty funny. I get bombarded by either the left or the right pretty much where ever I go…even (or especially  ) here.

What about radio? I get a lot of my news from All Things Considered.

Y’know, I’ve never seen a picture of Ailes before.

Once is enough.

Look, on an old-style CRT TV screen, the image is formed of pixels. Naturally they lose some of the nuances of the original image – each pixel is either red, blue or green, and each is an undifferentiated dot, either glowing or dark. Nevertheless, the resulting big picture is a fairly accurate representation of reality.

They were, they were – in Kurdistan, the one part of Iraq Hussein did not control. This has come up in other GD threads.

Fox News views are probably wondering why we’re talking about Scooter Libby getting a pardon. After all, he was found not guilty! Well, on 1 of 5 counts anyway.

Well, between Libby being not guilty and Mark Foley being a Democrat I don’t know why those failed-prosecuting pedophile liberals don’t just give up.
