I determinedly agree. Liz and Jack are just fine the way they are with him liking her while having utter contempt for everything she believes, and she liking him while being deeply envious of how successful he is.
Bones came very very close, if not for retconning it all as tumor hallucinations. It would definitely jump the shark if it added any woowoo without taking it back. Any magical dirigibles must be revealed as the machinations of Lucy Liu.

Are you kidding? That’s comedy gold, Jerry! Tony Danza playing Frank’s long lost, good natured brother, Tony, who made a small fortune as a lightweight boxer 20 years ago shows up to visit. He’s dumb but sweet. By the end of the episode, Frank has scammed him out of all his money and the gang destroyed his life.
They sort of tackled this issue of them getting together last week when they got married accidentally, and it’s kind of put to bed now.
Dr Who keeps going to London and Wales, but in different realities etc.
