But I mean in terms of the actual explosion. I’m imagining an actual battle here, where just giving your enemies radiation poisoning or cancer isn’t going to cut it.
I would imagine setting up “minefields” of space debris (imagine hundreds of thousands of ball bearings orbiting in various patterns), that you would know about and track but your enemy couldn’t.
It is already a problem that small objects may punch holes through a hull; how much worse if there’s a likelyhood that a small object instead of punching a hole which might be patched easily, we now have a blast?
I think the magazine needs to be inside the ship and somewhat protected.
