Howard Schultz or Michael Bloomberg would be good for this national crisis

Americans don’t like to elect senators and activists as presidents.

Donald Trump was a executive and businessman when he got elected; he was an outsider.

Biden and Sanders are senators, Biden the nation’s No. 2 under Obama, but both old and if elected, the stress could get to them and make them unhealthy.

Older people and stress is not good.

Howard Schultz and Michael Bloomberg are successful executives, they can take charge and they have leadership skills.

It’s a shame this was not their moment.

LOL

Michael Bloomberg is the same age as Biden and Sanders.

He’s much more sharper mentally than both of them.

Which one is it?

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would be good, too.
But, none of them are the president.

Biden and Sanders look their age.

Bloomberg does not.

Schultz is 66, but does not look his age.

Howard Schultz or Michael Bloomberg would be good for this national crisis.

So would Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders.

Or Barack Obama or George W. Bush or Bill Clinton.

Or Hillary Clinton or Mitt Romney or John McCain or John Kerry or Bob Dole or Al Gore.

Or even, god help us all, Dick Cheney or Ted Cruz.

This is a major crisis. It’s what we have Presidents for. Presidents are supposed to listen to the experts, make the decisions, give the orders, and protect the people.

But we drew the short straw. Donald Trump is President. And it seems his priorities are trying to deflect blame away from himself and protecting his stock portfolio.

Which pretty much holes your thesis below the waterline, I think.

Trump doesn’t know what he is doing

But he was a successful executive!

QED.

Senator/community organizer Obama seemed to do rather well for himself, though.

Six bankruptcies say otherwise.

Except (counting backward) Senator Obama, Senator Kennedy, Senator Harding, Senator Harrison, Senator Pierce, and Senator Jackson.

Of presidents’ previous political jobs we had:

15 Veeps (9 successions)
11 Governors
6 Senators
4 Generals
3 Cabinet Secretaries
2 Representatives
2 Ambassadors
1 President
1 no office

Executive? He ran an awfully small staff; Trimp.Org is no Wendy’s. Businessman? He was and remains a swindler, money launderer, failed developer, and clownish TV personality, among other shit. Outsider? He bribed and cultivated politicians.

“But he won!” Sure - on a rigged roulette wheel, weighted ~5% in favor of any GOP. The US rewards luzers. What a system!

I had to look up Schultz - oh yeah, the Starbucks guy who quit the race last year for health reasons. What a choice! Meanwhile, government is not a business except for the very corrupt. The term is kleptocracy.

One thing you can say about Trump’s experience in light of the current crisis, he knows how to close down a business!

Why, Tramp is just the greatest friend of small business that ever there was, YUGELY! Shutting down all those little failures so they can be YUGELY! productive [del]slaves[/del] cogs in the great machine that is Amerikkka! Yes, every low-margin enterprise will [del]hit the shitter[/del] be put in its proper place for the benefit of our YUGE! corporate owners. As the song goes, only the strong survive. Only the weak allow their lousy selves to be crushed. Luzers!

Think of it as evolution in action.

The guy who invested $500 million to win Samoa would be a very good person to put in charge of a global pandemic.

We need to stop worshiping the rich.
