John Corrado: sounds like the one! You can see I’m highly informed about this stuff. My great-aunts paperwork is rustling around here somewhere, so if it ever rises to the surface I can check it out.

The only parts I ever remembered were New York, going broke and Morris. (The Morris part I remember from an old commercial that my infant sister and I found hilarious to mimick endlessly: Call for Phiiiliiip Mooorrrisss…!

No wonder our parents didn’t dwell on it.

Well, if you go back far enough - African. A more recent tallying would be:

paternal - Viking via Canada
maternal - primarily British with a little central European soup

maternal- Dutch,English, German, Cherokee, Osswego… they claim direct descendence from Dutch royalty…yeah yeah…and TennHipp, my great grandfather& gr. grandmothers looked verrryyy Indian, dark, except with light eyes.

paternal- Scots-Irish-Canadian

So, me, I’ve got high cheekbones, wild red curly hair and a restless mind: I’m hopin’ its evolution!
