Huell Howser dead at 67

I don’t think anyone has ever loved California the way Huell did.

He was a font of cheer and optimism and geeky curiosity in an increasingly snarky and cynical world. I’ll miss him tremendously.

A lovely tribute to Howser written by James Adomian.

RIP, Mr. Howser. I loved your wonderful shows showing all the beautiful and quirky things in our state along with your enthusiasm for all Californiania.

RIP, Huell. I never knew you, but you seemed like an old friend I could approach at any time and sit down with for a beer or two. Thanks for helping Mrs. Tango and me learn and enjoy California’s Gold.
