Aaaaaaaaand, now he’s dead. I’m not a heaven and hell kind of girl, but I hope wherever he wound up it’s rather unpleasant.
Watching the late news, I just saw that he is dead. My response is, “May his soul rest in peace, and may the souls of his victims rest in peace.” That man just wasn’t right.
Couldn’t have happened to a better guy! This monster was murdering when I was a kid and there was much fear in our community.
I can’t remember exactly when but Olson requested maps of the Nanaimo area when my mother was working at city hall. There was speculation that he was trying to wrangle more money for bodies. As far as I know the request was refused or at least my mother never heard more on it. I don’t recall any unsolved murders at that time in our area so I suspect it was part of his megalomania.
