I just finished series 1 of Moone Boy. Didn’t release it was a period piece until episode 2. :smack:
We (my family and I) love Deadbeat. The main character is a loser and a moron whose best friend is a drug dealer. Your first impression is that it is going to be a very stupid show, but once you sit down and watch it you find out that it’s actually pretty good.
There’s only ten episodes so far, but it was just recently renewed for a second season.
Klovn is a Danish Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Green Wing is absurd, politically incorrect, sick, perverted, and funny. My favorite was Sue the staff liaison officer. It’s not for everyone, but it’s got some laugh out loud moments. The speeded up transitions emphasize the actors’ physical improvisation I guess. I watched it on Youtube. Hulu never works for me.
For Americans who liked Ab Fab, give it a shot. It’s not the same, but you might like it. It’s two seasons, nine eps each I think, ended in '06 or '07.
I like Pramface. It’s cute.
I want to check out Deadbeat this summer. I find it interesting that its theme is extremely similar, based on the commericals, to another show the main actor was in several years ago, Dead Last.
But what’s the one they advertise with the cows that exploded? I keep looking through their shows trying to see if I can find it, but I can’t recall the name at all.
