Hummus as a side dish?

What’s wallah?

A common Arabic oath used to emphasize a statement. “I swear…”

Buzz off. What the Mrs. and I do together with a batch of hummus is none of your business.

What y’all do with the hummus and double dipping is up to you, but if my husband does it then the rest of the dish is his. (Not a problem with hummus since he doesn’t like it). I can’t bring myself to eat something that anyone else has double dipped in. It may not be logical considering all the other things we do together, bit it is what it is.

Spare flour tortillas and frozen fish sticks make for pretty poor fish tacos. Until you add hummus and hot sauce. Then they’re pretty damn good.

Hummus, tzatziki, sundried tomato dip and some crackers or pita are the perfect meatless lunch. I usually add a few hard boiled eggs and some carrots to round out the meal.

Goes great on pasta or gnocci, especially gnocci.

I just tried using hummus as a dipper for a big soft Bavarian pretzel. Yum! Worked great. And since I wasn’t sharing, I could double-dip all I wanted.
