When I saw the thread title, I thought someone was proposing to give up humor for Lent.
“I’m going to take everything seriously and not laugh for the next 40 days…”
Or maybe laugh more for the next 40 days. Though you could take Sundays off, as you can with any Lenten observance.
St. Francis would have liked it. From what I am reading, St. Maximilian Kolbe would have, too.
