As I recall, the Steele dossier suffered from a similar lack of corroborated and incriminating evidence. That is why nobody was charged as a result of the Steele dossier. That said, the Steele dossier was connected to the newly elected president. The laptop, is alleged to be the property of someone not even running for public office. Furthermore, I’m not sure how you can make a straight faced claim that the story is being ignored. It is not being believed. That’s not the same as being ignored.
I’ve avoided this thread because so much of the “news” in it is speculative and unproven. I also don’t want to slog through hundreds of posts offering little actual facts.
Sam Stone or Hands can you sum up, briefly, what we’re supposed to take away from this story? The intelligence community, numerous news organizations, and Congressional investigations have all investigated the Biden/Ukraine dealings and found Joe Biden did nothing illegal or compromised US policy with Ukraine. So what is the meat of this story that should sway me into thinking Joe Biden is unfit to be President? Is there any actual corroboration to these allegations? What has been actually proven, and what does it mean for Joe (not Hunter) Biden?

Did he say that Trump dropped these phones off at a repair shop at the other end of the country and never got around to picking them up despite their incriminating contents? If so, I’d probably point and laugh, since that’s more polite than directly expressing irritation at the blatant insult to my intelligence.

I am trying, and failing, to visualize the conniptions a Republican election judge would throw if a Biden vote had one of those signatures on file and the other on the mail-in ballot envelope.
The phones in question were Bobulinski’s, which he says never left his posession, and which he claims contain incriminating audio. He turned them over to the FBI. They had nothing at all to do with the laptop.
It occurs to me that a likely reason we haven’t seen the usual full-court press attempt to push this story onto the teevee is that Rudy Giuliani was supposed to be the point man. However, after Rudy found it prudent to stay out of public view after that embarrassing shirt-tucking incident, not even Team Orange has been able to find someone shameless enough to take over for him.

Who cares what he says? Produce some evidence, and maybe it will be interesting. But some guy says he has incriminating audio, but somehow we can’t listen to that audio? Who cares?
the point is: Biden says that he never discussed any of Hunters business with him. Some people say that he is lying because it just isn’t plausible given what we know. So ownership of the laptop is just a detail in getting to the bottom of the allegations. The important thing is the info on the laptop. The media is doing their best to ignore that info because it is in their interest to do so.
Maybe he should complain to the Postmaster General about his crap security…
I guess I’ll ask again. What info? What does anything on the laptop have to do with Joe Biden? We’ve already investigated Hunter Biden, Burisima, and any possible activity that involves Joe, and there was nothing found. What evidence is there? Is there any corroboration? And what kind of illegal activity does it purport to show Joe Biden engaged in?
The point is, your belief in these allegations is super-embarrassing, bud.
