You’d have to start with confirming if the laptop was actually Hunter’s. After that, there are chain of custody concerns. If you resolve both of those, then you should be able to validate those documents from other sources (server storage, other parties to the emails, etc).
But getting past the first 2 right now has not even been done.
Hack his laptop, get a bunch of legitimate emails and documents from it that ties it to him and gives it credibility, then put that, along with manufactured evidence on a new laptop to be discovered.
It doesn’t need to stand up to scrutiny, as we have seen, as those who want to believe it will not give it that scrutiny.
The article says it "went viral". I’ve followed the Hunter Biden news updates regularly and have never heard anything about that. It has nothing to do with the laptop.
The document was a precursor to generating BS conspiracy theories to lay the groundwork for acceptance of the laptop story.
Guys, we saw the President get impeached for trying to gin up this crap, so when the crap finally got ginned up, why do y’all think this is anything but bullshit?
After a full investigation of “the laptop”, I will be very happy to see Giuliani (and others) prosecuted. I think they should start by flipping the repair shop guy. Found out who actually gave him the laptop.
If by “precursor” you mean “something that happened earlier” then yes that is true. But this has nothing to do with the laptop. I’ve never heard of this “64 page document” before today and it appears it was never reported by any reputable media outlet. Both Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey testified under oath this week that there is no evidence that the laptop is Russian disinformation. The FBI confirmed this week that there is an open investigation into Hunter Biden and associates regarding allegations of money laundering. And a Biden spokesperson didn’t deny that Biden met with Bobulinksi:
Guys cut Quicksilver some slack on this. I SPECIFICALLY indicated that I wanted his rating IF the allegations were true. Quicklsiver has repeatedly stated that he does not think that they are true, and I have no reason to doubt that he thinks this. This is also why my corruption rating of 0.4 was so high. Since they are bullshit I would actually rate him at a 0.1-0.2.
This is like asking in GQ what would happen if the sun suddenly turned into a black hole, and having the answers criticized because our sun isn’t large enough to collapse into one.
The only comment to Quicksilver I have is that if as he says even if the allegations were true he still thinks that Biden is on the below average level of corruption, why make such a big deal about it? At worst its grumble grumble I guess he’s not quite as pure as I thought oh well we all have our faults.
It’s a common rhetorical device. Assuming for the sake of argument. He was asked the hypothetical, after stating multiple times that he did not believe the allegations were true. “Assuming it’s true” is a way of saying, “it is not proved,” or “I don’t believe it,” “but hypothetically, (even) if it were true, then …”
The key difference between then and now, as noted in the article linked up in Post #310, is that the FBI hasn’t really said anything about any investigation since last year.
My point was that despite what the FBI said, there was nothing to those emails. You’re just making my case stronger that these Biden allegations are full of shit.
Assuming Trump is a lizard person from Sirius B, where would you think that would put Trump in the ranking of the current set of politicians, with 0.0 being least corrupt and 1.0 being most corrupt (I would say 37.6)
