Richard says you can’t have any money.
“People who try to pretend they’re superior make it so much harder for those of us who really are.”
Christmas Special 1994 - Hyacinth looks into getting new kitchen counters but Richard’s foot problems take top priority.
Quote #1 - [Hyacinth]“What did the doctor say?”
[Richard]“It’s athletes foot.”
[Hyacinth]“But it can’t be athletes foot. Didn’t you tell him you’re a retired executive? If you’ve got anything it’s executives foot.”
Quote #2 - “Richard, do you seriously believe that I would have married an athlete with a fungus infection?”
Quote #3 - Your gout is an infliction acceptable in the very highest circles. It comes from an excess of good living. Gout is practically a pedigree. You have gout."
“I should have thought postmen would be trained to recognize first-class stamp houses.”
It’s pronounced Bouquet, dear.
'Ri-i-i-ichard"
“Poor Daddy. I’d have him live with us but”
“She’ll sing at me”
“The Bucket residence. The lady of the house speaking.”
“I do hope you can make it to my candlelight dinner. I shall be serving it on my royal daulton”.
But the best part was when Rose offered her a drink of water from a recently re-washed glass…and had been drying the dishes with Onslo’s underwear.
I don’t think I’ve seen this episode. Do you remember which one it was?
I think it was the only episode where we saw Daisy and Onslow’s kitchen.
Daddy was lost somewhere, as usual.
Did we ever get to meet “sister Violet, the one with the sauna and room for a pony.”
Violet does appear very briefly in a couple of episodes, as does her transvestite husband.
“Minding the pedestrian…”
How about a luxury, indoor/outdoor garden buffet?
Or a water-side supper with riparian entertainments?
Or an indoor/outdoor luxury barbeque?
“Why is it that one always sees so much of Onlso?”
“. . . and next time, I do wish you’d wear something more Christian in the way of socks.”
“Oh, nice.”
“I’m not a sex object, Daisy.”
