I would say you’re being “overly-sensitive”, except that in your situation right now there can be no such thing!! You’re being fucked with on all sides, and everything is shitting on you right now. Damn man. This really sucks. I won’t even pretend to know how you’re feeling or what you’re going through.
But keep in mind that everyone here is trying to help you. And everyone here has good intentions and we’re all very sincere in what we say. Nobody here is going to crap on you like those “Real Life” people!! If someone posts something that you think is hurtful or mean, take a second and reread it a couple time. Because most likely, you’re just taking him all wrong.

You fight the fight using legal means and then move on with your life while that battle is going on. Take it or leave it, but my advice is to do everything you can to recapture a sense of normalcy while still using legal means to fight the injustice. Regrettably, attempts at revenge (outisde the law) or pre-occupation with this will only harm you.

I want to second (or third) the notion that you request a Mod or Admin to not just lock, but delete this thread. You don’t want your legal opponents to have any shred of documentation about you, your complaint, or your state of mind concerning this issue, if it can be avoided.
I also want to add-- you needn’t worry about somebody here knocking you down right now; you needn’t even look for it, because if any one did they’d likely get their ass handed to them in a snuff jar.

First, my deepest condolances, and my prayers go out to you and your family.
A few things - one run, don’t walk, to a lawyer. If you can’t get help from a legal aid clinic, as much as I loathe the practice, this is the sort of case that the whole payment on settlement was made for.
two - document EVERYTHING you do, say, hear, or think about this situation in a secure place. Whom you’ve talked to, at which office, what time the call was. Make it impossible for people to claim your loss has confused you, because you can recite chapter and verse about what has happened.
three - if things continue to pack up on you and you still can’t get a lawyer, call the local human interest newspaper person, and ask him/her to help you with publicity. Don’t do this on your own, unless you’ve gotten no other way to get help and every lawyer in your state has told you to stop bothering them. Once you do have a lawyer this may be a step he/she suggests, but don’t do it on your own if you can possibly avoid it.
I can’t say anything that everyone else hasn’t said–they’re all absolutely right. They’re warm, wonderful, caring, amazing people, and it’s a privilege to be here with them. 
They–and I, and all of us–are looking out for you.

Let me reiterate that you should FIRST call the EEOC (U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) before you call any lawyers. They will represent you if you have a legitimate complaint that is on the FEDERAL LEVEL…your ex-employer of accusing you of being a terrorist might be of interest to them. The representation will probably be free of charge, and if you do not have a claim or the issue is out of their realm (this is near the borderline, IMHO) then they can possibly refer you to another agency or THEN tell you to seek private counsel. No skin off your back if the claim is not accepted.
A lawyer is one thing, a federal agency kicking your ex-employer’s ass around is another level up, IMHO. As an employer myself, this would scare the crap out of me.
