me too ![]()
I did too in the early 2000’s
Oh me too! When I was young, the neighbor boys and I spent hours under a maple tree with hot wheel cars and Tonka trucks creating/planning yards, driveways etc. Otherwise, I grew up with a father that was a builder, handling lumber, concrete, bricks, wheel barrels and what have you. College was home building courses but my favorite was Architectural drawing classes!
I openly admit I too am a plant killer, they die a dry painful death or a horrible drowning depending on the plant!
whoever posted the antique plans, I love that one that comes up but I need ranch style homes now. Getting old
I’ve always loved bi levels too!
Being a process server, I see so many disgusting stairways leading to front doors and back. Many is disrepair, especially the wood ones!! UG! :(
Same here. I have several from various houses I’ve lived in.
Why in the world would anyone break in to steal a Wandering Jew, possibly to commonest house plant.
I used to give away starts to my friends until it was like trying to give away zucchini. “No, we are good, thanks.”
By the way, I live in an old 1935 Craftsman house. I could give you the layout if you don’t get all crazy and use it in some kind of fetish ritual.
My response to the thread title without reading any posts:
Hey, bang all the house plants you want. I won’t judge.
suspicious once-over Does it have built-ins?
I came in to talk about Sears kit homes.
But my dream house will be a modified Usonian farmhouse style.
Also look up Sunday papers on Google’s archive. Plenty of them have house plans; more recent ones have apartment/condo plans as well.
Funny you mentioned Sunday ---- our old church came from Monkey Ward’s assemble-it-yourself.
I’m enjoying the links in this thread. I’m not a huge fan of FLWs residential homes. They are not responsible in today’s world however beautiful. But if that is your thing, google “usonian house plan” and you’ll find plenty.
ETA: is there a joke in the OP that I’m missing? Orange shirts?
