John Titor was an amusing storyteller. But he was not a time traveler.
Titor “predicted” that there would be a civil war in the United States starting in 2008. Because of this war he said the 2004 Olympics would be the last ones staged. These events obviously did not happen.
There’s a popular Japanese game and an anime about John Titor as a real time traveller. I guess this might have something to do with that … maybe.

I googled John Titor’s alleged knowledge of the Indonesian tsunami and there is nothing - this thread was one of the top results. So don’t worry. He was never real.

Well, y7xzh1, I wouldn’t worry about it even in the extremely small chance that it’s not a hoax, because time-travel is only a problem for those who do it (or try to do it). If you stay in the moment, you’ll be fine.
Ironically, it was his own grandson that killed him.
