Truely mundane and pointless, but I can’t help but share (read brag.) I just made the 99th percentile on the Mensa qualification test. I guess I’m in.
I flunked it.
Lucky for you we’re not in the pit.
What would that make your IQ? Just curious. Oh, and congratulations
You won’t get all snotty with us now eh?
Where does one FIND this test?

If you’re so smart, howdja manage to mistake me for an uptight prude?
Not trying to hijack your thread, but on a similar topic…
I got the results back from my admission test to paramedic school – I got a 95 on the written test and a 95 on the Essay test, woo hoo!

WallyM7: Hell, take it again. I just got lucky is all. After all it’s a fine line between the 97th and 98th percentile (and the 97th and 99th too for that matter.)
Coldfire: The test actually consists of two tests. The first test, on which I made the 99th percentile, reported that my IQ is 140. The second test, on which I made the 98th percentile, is footnoted to indicate that that percentile is equivalent to an IQ of 134 on the Stanford-Binet. Snotty? No, I don’t even feel smart or anything.
Rich G7subs: www.us.mensa.org can set you up with a testing location.
Green Bean: I musta been outa my mind.
kinoons: Kudos.
The snotty bit was a joke, inertia
I do know now that there’s nothing to fear. We’re in the same league
Right on, kinoons!
Way to go man. You can’t spell for shit so you must have cheated!
What’s mensa?
*disclaimer: I know what mensa is. It was a joke. For those of you who are well adjusted enough to have no need of such a ridiculous disclaimer, please disregard. Thanks.
Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken.
Lexi,
Well, the mult choice part wasent too bad. I spent what seemed to be ages thinking of words that ment the same as the words that I orgionally wanted to use so I could spell them (Hell, I can’t even spell synanom)

Well, muy congrationitos, Inertia!
I was gonna say something snide, but my overarching intellect vetoed it.
Scuse me while I take her into the woods and give her a hearty spanking…

Hmmm, I tried the on line MENSA test, but I suck at tests.
Not to toot my own horn, but according to my pyschiatrist I have an IQ of 134. Just proves to me that you don’t have to be school smart to be intelligent.
My mom was a member of MENSA, but she was too smart for her own good.
My step-grandfather is a member of Mensa, and while he’s mostly a good guy, he’s kind of a pompous ass about his membership.
Hmm… considering my posts here, perhaps I would fit in…

I think my wife is going through mensa right now…soo gripy lately…

Well… not to brag but…
I got 99% on my urine test the other day…
I’ve thought about going for Mensa a couple of times, but then I thought, “I would be paying to be in a club of smart people… how smart would that really make me?”
