Wow I’m actually here. I’ve been to Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, and now I’m about ready to crash here in Prague. I’m here by myself and am having lots of experiences (both good and bad!) I have a Eurorail pass and am looking forward to visiting Vienna soon and then heading south to Rome.
This is definately the craziest thing I’ve done. But it’s a good time and i’m learning so much about Europeon history. Meeting new people is cool too
That’s awesome. I’ve been living in Europe (Scotland and Germany) for the last 6 months and I’ve gotten in a fair bit of wandering although much less than you. I was in Prague in April and I thought it was really beautiful. If you get a chance you should go up to the monastery near the castle. It has this gorgeous library and lots of wierd little things.
Also there is cool arms and armaments museum up at the castle. Suits of armor and whatnot. If you’re into that sort of thing, check it out.
Prague was the last stop in my 7 weeks Eurotrip, so we were pretty burned out on tourism by then. We pretty much sat in the main square (with the clock) drank beer, watched people go by, and bought some crystal for our moms.
I did that in '91, man it was a blast. Make sure to visit Florence to see the most beautiful women in the world, and Amsterdam. I was in Amsterdam, but for some odd reason I don’t. quite. recall. everything that happened there, so maybe you could tell me what it’s like. (aside from colorful and blurry, I remember that part.) Venice is an open sewer, make it a day trip casue it looks cool as long as you don’t look at the canals from close up.
