I broke my Google Chrome. How to fix?

Google Search started suddenly to do the same thing on my computer, about a month ago, on all three browsers. At first, the search line is in the middle of the page, but as soon as you enter a character, it jumps up to the top of the page. That is how Google characteristically defines “improvement” – just randomly shifting something to a new place on the screen, making it invisible it until it is hovered over, and telling the user to see if he can find it. If they don’t just eliminate the useful feature entirely.
