Agreed!! I’m appreciative everytime some newb comes in asking about it so I’m reminded to read it again. Cracks me up every single time.
Perv!
Actually, I believe it means precisely the opposite.

Strangely, I am familiar with the origins of all of these EXCEPT the 1920s style death ray. Can someone help me out on this?
Ya know, I somehow never got around to opening the “All your base are belong to us” thread. How’d that turn out?
Recently, I entered a favorite recipe contest. My horseradish meatloaf lost narrowly to Bobby’s Rack of Lamb. Somehow the tag got misspelled as Rack of Lab. As Bobby collected his plaque, skillet, and toque, he thanked everyone, “especially my neighbor’s dog.”
Reminds me of the time a couple of weeks ago when the gang and I went out to eat at a Hong Kong-style café.
Among the items on the menu:
Stir Fried Bean Spouse & Shrimp with Sambal Sauce
Special Lamp in Hot Pot
Condensed Mike & Peanut Butter Toast
Beed Fried Rice Noodle
All right, so those were typos (we hoped…), but still funny all the same. (we should have submitted them to Engrish.com, and I might well do just that now!)
Excuse me? I quite enjoy Condensed Mike, although I prefer him on a nice kaiser roll to peanut butter toast. Don’t insult my eating habits.
