Don’t forget that raising a child can be extremely difficult even when parents are still together. If any parent has not had to deal with that then I hate them. It is a shame your ex doesn’t make this easier, everybody should understand how you feel about this, it’s so common anybody this didn’t happen to has surely seen it happen to someone they know.
