Ok, I think this picture’s supposed to be funny. I don’t get it. Linky link.
The only thing i can think of is the one-way sign pointing left, and then the arrow going right, but it makes sense to me that the road to the right could be 2 way, and the one on the left one way.
Some of the ads may not be work safe. Women in skimpy clothing, an ad for Booble, that sort of thing. There’s also a “sexual” category for pictures at the top of the page.
I’d highly advise against clicking the picture at work though, as it brings up a random picture and there’s a quite good chance of nudity or other non-work-safeness.
Pretty lame. Is this what college humor has become? Yawn Back in the day we were much more humorous. I mean, condoms filled with whipped cream hanging on doorknobs, underwear flying from flag poles. Now that’s wit!
If Main Street is a two-way street to the right of the intersection, there should not be a one-way sign pointing left. The person stopped at the stop light does not need to be warned that there will be an absence of oncoming traffic from the left. One way signs exist to warn motorists not to go up them the wrong way. If you see a One Way sign pointed left, you don’t go right.
But it might let you know you can drive in either lane going left. Or that you can safely turn left on a red light without cutting anyone off. (WARNING: I have no knowledge of American traffic laws. This example is hypothetical and for your amusement only, etc.) Or maybe just that it is one-way; I’m sure I’ve seen an upward pointing arow on the UK’s blue-background=informational-sign showing that the road is one way the way you’re going…
