How about Fedora or Electra.

When I was 13-14 years old I was picking out baby names for my future children (all little girls do that, don’t they? ) I was going to name a little girl Electra Fedora. I thought it was soooo cool back then. I’m older and wiser now but I still like the names.

For metrical reasons, I would recommend a single-syllable middle name–something that flows easily. Further, the transition from the final “a” of “Francesca” should be smooth. Hmmmm…

<Goes off to tinker in his name-crafting shop>

Here you go: “Leigh” (pronounced <lee>)
Elegant, yet practical.

Francesca John-Jacob-Jingleheimer-Schmidt.

That way, you can shout “His name is my name too!”

I’ve watched so much Kids in the Hall that I absolutely cannot read your name without appending “Fiore”.

Francesca Fiore

H. (As in Francesca H. Lastname, as in Jesus H. Christ).

Danger? (C’mon, someone had to take you up on the offer.)

I again vote for Bob, but spell it Bawb then pronounce it with like you were saying it backward Bwab. Be sure to throw in an apostrophe B’wab. And just to be on the safe side throw in a couple of silent letters Tb’wab. There the perfect middle name.

If your name was Polly I would suggest Ester, that would be nice.

H. (As in Francesca H. Lastname, as in Jesus H. Christ).

Danger? (C’mon, someone had to take you up on the offer.)

I also don’t have a middle name, so I may pick one of these. I’m considering Flora, but it sounds funny with my name.

Weeble.

As in the old toys of my childhood, where the jingle on the advertisements went “Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down!”

Oh wait. You do fall down.

Nevermind.

Actually, I’m quite fond of Bob, too. Frannie-Bob. Yep. It works.

How about Josie or Marie?

HEY! She’s in England, not Arkansas!

Do what my wife did.

When we got married, she did not have a middle name, so she chose the name of her favorite heroine from her favorite book series to become her middle name and her name is now Kathleen Kinsey.

What’s your favorite book? Who’s your favorite fictional character? For that matter, may I suggest:

**Klaatu[/b}

Good luck!

Anastasia

Not really in the market for a deity - too much hubris in my life as it is. But I like Talullah. Or Shabnam.

My favourite book is A Prayer For Owen Meany. I’m not sure Owen would work so well.

Toastmaster 9000 is pretty good though.

A brief but deep soul searching has revealed your ideal middle name to me.

Renata – Francesca Renata

“the”
