In Cecil’s latest column, there is the sentence: “No doubt that why rumors of such an episode persist” (italics mine). I usually don’t like to nitpick (OK, I do), but come on - if I can catch the error, why can’t Cecil and/or the editor(s)? Sure, I make grammatical/punctuation errors when I post, but then I don’t have the reputation of being the smartest human being on the planet (yet). ANyway, just thought I’d be an ass about it, as it’s the first mistake I’ve caught (and I’ve been reading the SD for years).
Well, w’bird (I refuse to type that all out), there goes Ed’s bonus this year!
