I drove through Beavercreek today and thought of thinksnow(glimpses with familiarity)

I had an appointment in Far Hills and need to go to the areas of Dorothy Lane and Linden and I made a few turns then the next thing I knew I was in beavercreek.

I drove by the YMCA and admired the pond in the back then I drove by The Vineyard which touts itself as a nice enough church or some similiar slogan that I found quite amusing. Then I got back on 675 and took that to 75 then back home.

Even though I knew it was highly unlikely I still sort of looked around to see if I could catch a glimpse of the frosty one. I was even more freaked when I stopped at a gas station and I heard someone being addressed as Mr M. (think’s last name) I found myself looking for a family resemblance. I just couldn’t ask a perfect stranger if he had a son who had a computer and …

Has anyone else ever done this? I mean drive through a city where you know another doper lives and half think you are going to run into them somehow?

Highly unlikely, as I’m in San Francisco, soon to be in Tahoe. My parnets, though, are probably just getting back from a few months in Texas, and it’s quite likely that it was them…or him, as the case may be. Short-ish (5’7" or so) Italian man with black and grey hair and a pleasant demeanor? Probably driving a Subaru or a big’ol motorhome.

Too funny.
