Crap. So, yesterday I had a jibbly stomach, and some nasty, nasty diarreah. Kind of a chill and a headache. But none of those were really bad, just uncomfortable. Around 11:30, I had a bowl of soup, and at 12:30, decided to see how it would taste coming back up.
So, immediately home from work. Took a nap on the couch with the cats, only a touch of the runs the rest of the day and around evening actually got hungry. The headache comes and goes, but this morning the stomach seems stable.
I’m totally zapped of energy, I have chills and a 100.8 temperature. Now my throat is starting to hurt.
Don’t tell me to go home, I have a meeting to run tonight and I have to prep for that, on top of everything else I have to at least get started on here today.
Somebody come out here and tackle some of this for me so I can go home and make tha cats happy by sleeping on the couch all day, please??
I had what you describe last Tuesday. I made it to work but left shortly after 11.
I spent almost 2 hours on the road for 3 hour work day. Dumb of me.
At least I was able to do some work from home including the Month end processing that night.
Good Luck, Go home and rest as soon as you can. I felt better the next day, hopefully you will tomorrow or even tonight.
I had this New Year’s Eve. New Year’s friggin’ Eve… :rolleyes:
I slept through most of New Year’s Day, and took the next two days off from work. (I shudder to imagine what celebration they assumed that I had been in.) I spent the time in bed, sleeping or catching up on movies. I really couldn’t handle more than soup for that time.
On the plus side, I got a jump start on my weight loss resolution…
I had it a couple weeks ago–spent three days on the couch (and in the bathroom). But I was probably milking it for that last day, 'cause it was Friday.
