I fell down last night and it's really bugging me.

Just wait until you’re my age (73). I fell 4 times in the last 18 months, but no major injuries. Three were related to dizziness from blood pressure meds. The fourth was low blood sugar. The hardest part was learning how to get back up.

My point is that too often, people want to minimalize their health.

The medical community has penetrated the mainstream thinking that chest pain = heart problems. Education has been underway for years to inform about strokes, but IMHO, there is room for improvement.

When I had bad left chest pains in the middle of the night a few years ago, which were eventually diagnosed as muscle pains rather than anything to do with my heart, everyone from the EMTs through the hospital staff to my own doctor said this. Never feel embarrassed or shy about seeking help for symptoms that could be something serious.
