I learned something new. The Stealth Bomber is resistant to RADAR due to guys waxing and washing it daily.
This caller is a total Moron, a liar and full of shit. Right, he tells cops off when they pull him over for speeding and they let him go. He intimidates cops with his Camaro IROC. Sure. Like that’s the hottest car ever made and it brings all cops to there knees when they see it.
The guy claims that one Cop sent him a thankyou note for backing him (the cop) down.
The only guy dumber than this caller is the guy doing the interview. Not the sharpest knife in the world. He belives the callers car is resistant to RADAR because the car is washed and waxed all the time.
Radar bounces off of the car because its kept clean and shiny. RADAR is supposed to bounce off of stuff, that’s how it works.
Now the caller claims his IROC is made out of some kind of different metal that RADAR can`t pick up. If the RADAR didn’t work on this guys car then why did he get pulled over 20 times last year?
Actually, I think the guy is a fake. I think the shows host and the caller are in kahoots and the thing is somewhat scripted.

It’s the Phil Hendrie show–it’s scripted.
It is supposed to bounce off, but it needs to bounce, specifically, back to the person working the radar unit. I think the Camaro owner was arguing that if you fire a radar gun at a low-profiled, clean and shiny vehicle there’s a good chance that the rays will bounce off obliquely and not be picked up by the receptor on the radar unit. Now, it stands to reason that if you let the car get all dusty and crummy, the dirt and dust particles adhering to the car will make it more likely that when radar is used, some of the rays will bounce right back to the radar receptor.
It’s similar to the way you notice dust and dirt on a black car more than you otherwise would.
Is that why the Stealth Bombers have that mirror-like sheen?
I could only take a few minutes of this, the “caller” is a shit headed moron and the “host/dj” guy is a brain dead idiot, they deserve each other. Where I live telling off a LEO and using that “I pay your salary” crap will get you a few trips “accidentally falling down the stairs”, or a least more unwanted attention than you thought possible.
The truly scary part is that these morons vote, drive and reproduce!

I turned it off after he got to that point. Calling an IROC Camaro a “sweet ride” pushed me to the edge. “I pay your salary” was the final push.
I think it’s a setup. He sounds a bit like the big labousky.

Hey, whether it’ was legit or scripted, I was laughing. Are all of the outraged listeners part of the schtick, or does Phil actually let “real” people call in so he can play off of their incredulity and indignation?

He sounds a lot like DVE’s ‘Mullet Talk’ with Tino Martino.
And this thread is just like the show. People are being told it’s fake yet they look right past that so they can get their complaint in.
