I’m blowing my own horn a little bit here, but I’m very proud of myself, because I only learned to sew a few years ago when I took a Basic Sewing class through Jo-Ann Fabric.
This is technically a pirate costume (I had a hook for a hand earlier, but then MiniWhatsit made off with my fake hook) but I suppose with a little modification it could be a lot of different things. The littler Whatsits are all wearing pirate costumes this year too, so it’s a whole theme.
That looks great! I need to come up with a vampire costume for the theme party I’m going to, and I haven’t had the least bit of time to think about it, let alone start working on it! I don’t really know how to sew, though I do have a machine, and I am not afraid of duct tape!

You made that?! That is totally awesome. Looks like you have the skills to make yourself some killer RenFest gear if you take a mind to as well (not that you couldn’t go as a pirate!). I’m very impressed!
