I gained 20 lbs last month... APRIL FOOL! (April weight loss thread)

Oh, and Stoid–you can change your goals on MyFitnessPal. Under the My Home tab, select “Goals” and you can change your goals from that page. My current macro is for 10% carbs, 25% protein, and 65% fat.

I’m hitting the “actually losing weight” portion of my somewhat streaky weight loss–down 1.4 pounds since last week. Hope I can keep it up–my Biggest Loser weigh-ins are on Mondays.

I wish I’d taken measurements. I’ve been bouncing around the last 4 pounds for a week.

Tracking everything I eat is really hard on my ADD, but I think I really have to double up on the commitment to see if I can identify any trends.

I bounced around 4 pounds for the last three weeks. Finally on a downward trend again, by eating more. I’d highly recommend the RMR testing.

This way of eating can result in streaky losses, but your measurements will still go down. Get the tape out and do it today. That way, at this time next month if you’ve only lost two pounds, you can see that you’ve lost an inch on your waist and feel better. Eventually the scale will catch up. Because you’re burning fat and eating a lot of protein, you frequently lose fat and gain muscle, which weighs more than the fat you lose.
